There are really nine important Westerosi houses in Game of Thrones - some of the lesser houses like Frey or Bolton have certainly had big impacts, but to start with, you can pretty easily assign houses by region. Sure, you have some situations where houses like Tyrell actually weren't always in charge there - they took over the Reach from the Gardners - but we have a few houses we started with and now we can look at where they are.
House Stark:
Our favorite house, the Starks were always the most straight-up Lawful Good people, which unfortunately led to a lot of them dying in catastrophic ways. However, despite the horrors inflicted upon them, the Starks actually manage to be kind of resurgent at this point, taking back their ancient home of Winterfell and, well, not dying as much as the other houses (though they did just lose Rickon.)
Surviving Members: Sansa, Arya, Bran, Jon (kind of, both because he's sort of undead and also either a Targaryen or a Waters - the bastard name for the Crownlands,) Benjen (who is much more undead and really can't live among the living anymore, despite retaining his old mind.)
House Lannister:
With all three of Cersei's children dead, along with her cousin and uncle, the Lannisters have been reduced to three, and one of those is an exile who Cersei wants dead. Ironically, though, Tyrion is probably the best chance for the Lannister name to live on. Also, the newly self-appointed Queen Cersei is probably not long for this world.
Surviving Members: Cersei, Jaime, Tyrion
House Arryn:
Never the biggest player, House Arryn can only be considered to be doing well because the sole member, Robin, has not been murdered yet. It's highly likely that Arryn will fall to House Baelish, given that Littlefinger is already the de facto ruler of the Vale.
Surviving Members: Robin
House Tully:
This is another one-person House at the moment. Edmure is in a Frey jail, though with Walder Frey dead, we might see his release. Still, he gave up Riverrun, so I don't think that there's a good outlook for the Tullys. Also, the show doesn't look like it's doing Lady Stoneheart, so we can't list Catelyn here.
Surviving Members: Edmure
House Baratheon:
Even if you counted Joffrey, Myrcella, and Tommen, they are all now dead anyway. And they were never really Baratheons in the first place. The only surviving Baratheon by blood is Gendry (who, if he were recognized, would be Gendry Storm,) but he seems to have escaped into obscurity, and was a bastard anyway. With Stannis' death after his failed assault on Winterfell, the Baratheon family was eliminated.
Surviving Members: *sad trumpet sound,* or Gendry if you count him.
House Tyrell:
Oh, they were doing so well! But with Cersei's bombing of the Sept of Balor, two generations of Tyrells were wiped out. (Pour one out for Margaery, who died as she lived - being the only one in the room who actually knew what was happening.) Still, the House itself is not completely gone, and that means allies for a certain Dragon Queen.
Surviving Members: Olenna, aka The Queen of Thorns
House Martell:
This one's really a question of whether you count bastards. If not, the Martells are totally gone. But if you count the Sand Snakes, there are a few of them.
Surviving Members: Uh... those Sand Snake ladies. I guess.
House Greyjoy:
Despite really bollocksing up their invasion of the North (if the Boltons managed anything good, it was turning back the Greyjoys,) the Greyjoys are actually in a pretty decent place, all things considered. Granted, the new Sea King Euron wants his niece and nephew dead, but just in terms of the prospects of their family continuing, they're pretty well positioned, even if Theon ain't going to be contributing much genetically.
Surviving Members: Euron, Yara/Asha, Theon, Aeron Damphair (who I can't remember if they've ever actually mentioned by name on the show.)
House Targaryen:
Ever since Drogo poured molten gold on Viserys' head, the official count for Targaryens has been one. Indeed, Daenerys' story is largely about how she has taken on the mantle of her legacy and striven to achieve the restoration of her dynasty as well as redeeming her family by ruling justly and ethically. The big spanner in the works here is that we now know that Jon is Lyanna's son, and while not explicitly said, it's clear that he's also Rhaegar's son. He is certainly Daenerys' nephew (despite the fact that they're the same age,) but if Rhaegar and Lyanna had eloped, he would also be the rightful heir to the Iron Throne. While Westeros tends to stress the male aspect of Male Primogeniture, as the last of her family, Daenerys was in a strong position to be a legitimate Targaryen monarch. But with Jon now declared King in the North - the Stark bannermen have decided to ignore the fact that he is, on paper at least, a bastard, which threatens his unity with Sansa - and Bran on his way back south of the wall with knowledge of Jon's Targaryen heritage, Jon could threaten Daenerys' claim to the Iron Throne.
On the other hand, Daenerys is infertile, last we checked, after her unborn son was unwittingly given to preserve Khal Drogo's life. So while Jon might stand in her way to take the Iron Throne, I'd advise her to keep him around, given that Jon's the only chance for the Targaryens to make more Targaryens (just please don't let Jon and Dany get married - not only can she not bear his children, but she's his aunt, which... ew.)
Surviving Members: Daenerys, Jon assuming he's not a bastard.
